The first mission of the LSI LANGUAGE IMMERSION PROGRAM is to develop each student's ability to communicate in the world's sixth most-widely spoken language, by attempting to keep the student "in Bahasa Indonesia" for the duration of her/his stay. The twin goal is to provide each student with a better understanding of the culture and people of Indonesia, and have her/him return home having acquired memories, friendships and influences which will impact her/his life forever.
