The University of Nottingham, described by The Sunday Times University Guide 2013 as “one of the first [universities] to embrace a truly international approach to higher education”, has award-winning campuses in the UK, China and Malaysia. It is ranked in the UK's top 10 and the world's top 75 universities by the Shanghai Jiao Tong (SJTU) and QS World University Rankings, placing it in the top 1% of all universities worldwide. In the last two years, it has become a world top 25 choice for employers and has moved up more than 50 places in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings. In 2012 we welcomed over 160 US and 60 Canadian students to our UK campus and have a history of welcoming Fulbright and Marshall Scholarship winners and visiting academics from North America. We offer comprehensive student support, generous scholarships and our Students’ Union has over 240 societies and 75 sports clubs.
